This week in the life of a medical school student mom in a directed study pathway (DSP): 00:00 Introduction (Preview) 00:14 Monday - 💐 Happy belated mother's day message; clinical neurology pharmacology meeting & quiz; medical errands for Justice's ongoing GI issues; 🪖 army recruiter update (HPSP & MDSSP options) 04:01 Tuesday - A 3-year-old eats a salad 🥗 for breakfast and a tough day means only an hour of studying/exercising, but we end with some fun outside, gardening 👩🌾 04:57 Wednesday - My last OPP practical exam of the first year of medical school; 🩸 plasma donation; gas fill-up & Target 🎯 pick-up; ending the day at the beautiful beach 🏖 06:55 Thursday - Early morning to send Justice off to the children's hospital for an upper GI series 🩻 (and results); clinical neurology pharmacology meeting & quiz; rotations update; excel session; studying and 🏃♀️ exercising 🏋️♀️ at home; Walmart pharmacy run that, of course, ends up in another doll for Justice 08:33 - How I study, walk/jog, and strength train all at the same time (I do not recommend due to potential risk for injury 🤣 but this mama's gotta do what she's gotta do to get it all in) Also, the use of abdominal compression when exercising is quite controversial these days. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it for the purpose of "cheating" the way around building core strength.
